Adult Ministry

Lead so that people grow in their spiritual life and live as Christian disciples.

Coordinate ministry and program offerings for adults to address the needs, concerns, and issues in your congregation and community.

Work with church leaders of all ages to plan and implement ministry that furthers the vision and goals of your congregation.

Ensure that adult ministry shall be for, with, and by adults.

What doe s the coordinator do?

Maintain a healthy and growing personal spiritual life and be a role model to encourage others to do the same .

Be attentive to the hopes, concerns, and needs of adults in your community and congregation in order to provide a means for adult growth as Christian disciples and good neighbors.

Collaborate with other leaders in the congregation and community to contribute to the congregation’s vision and goals.

Advocate the inclusion of adults of all ages in all aspects of the ministry of the congregation. Work with others to plan and carry out a varied and wide-ranging ministry with adults that includes worship, study, fellowship, and service opportunities.

Guide the work of the adult ministries t e am (if organized) throughout the year, including planning its agendas and presiding at its meetings.
