Boy Scout Troop 190 and Pack 190

Trinity embraced the value of scouting, as a way to assist in nurturing youth, early in its history and continues to do so today. The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. It provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

Trinity United Methodist Church Boy Scout Troop 190 and Pack 190 continue to produce leaders of character in our community.  Over the years, leadership has included Earl Middleton (a founder of Troop 190), Frank Staley, Sidney Young, Charles Johnson, Samuel Nimmons and others dating back to the mid 1940s or earlier.
